Musk , who co - launch a little chain of eatery   call The Kitchen and Next Door , said the new eatery , The Kitchenette , will suffice mostly grab - and - go meals like sandwich , soups , and salads for less than $ 5 when it opens at the Shelby Farms Park   in Memphis sometime this August . Although there are no substantial plans beyond the Memphis fix , Musk aver he hopes to potentially take the restaurant concept nationwide , per the report .
