So here ’s our tilt of the springtime brew offering that will be Charlotte staples this come up season . But a warning : verify you playact spry . Birdsong Brewing Co. Doin' Thyme
Witbier , 4.3%NoDaDoin ’ Thyme is a beer custom - made for a strong day because it ’s just that all-fired refreshing . It ’s brew with thyme , Coriandrum sativum , and lemon peel , and pretty much smells and tastes like fresh herb and citrus tree . Legion Brewing Sunny Day Saison
Imperial farmhouse ale , 8%Plaza MidwoodPairing traditional Belgian gaminess with the fact that it ’s brewed with unused lemongrass , the gay Day Saison pretty much feels like you ’re drinking tea . But , you have it away , a very furtive tea leaf that has the voltage to knock you on your ass , thanks to that 8 % alcoholic beverage content . There ’s a hint of citrus , peaches , and Mangifera indica with every sip of this potable , so you could only opine how unmanageable it ’ll be to leave it at one .
Lenny Boy Brewing Co. Wit n' Wild
barbarian ale , 4.4%South EndKombucha , uncivilised ales , and organic beer … oh my ! Lenny Boy Brewing Co. is the only evidence organic microbrewery in North Carolina . Its new spring / summer wild ale , Wit n ' Wild , is a witbier that has been fermented with the brewery ’s own house - culture yeast and aged for five months with NC organic strawberries . While a complex appendage , this labor of love has created a pretty brisk and effervescent beverage .
NoDa Brewing Company Par 4
Session IPA , 4%NoDa ( & other locations)A beer that smell as good as it tastes , Par 4 is a great terrace , beach , or barbeque brew option . This IPA is brew with just about 4lbs of record hop per drum and chat up with oat . It has a combination of a lightsome citrus taste with a low ABV , making it rather appealing to both the IPA lovers and the novice . Other expiration will be announced within the coming months as NoDa homework to celebrate its 5th anniversary .
The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Früh Bock

Red Clay Ciderworks Hoppin' Good Thyme
cyder , 6.9%South EndWhen Red Clay Ciderworks open up in 2015 , it was Charlotte ’s first cidery . It gave ethnic music with gluten allergies reason to rejoice , because it ’s all gluten - free , and offered ciders that were able-bodied to balance between beer and vino . Even still , they all compact a tasty punch . The Hoppin ’ Good Thyme is its flagship semi - ironic cider ; it ’s infuse with hops , lilac-colored , and thyme , and weirdly resembles a succus and not so much a cider .

IPA , 6%South EndNot your typical IPA , Countryside savour a picayune on the lighter side , but still manages to showcase spate of record hop . With hints of grapefruit , this is a refreshing IPA with a gravid taste all the way through . It ’s an undoubted fan favorite and is now available in cans for people to enjoy at home or on the beach . Triple C Brewing Co. Sal’s Paradise
Saison , 5.3%South EndThough a circumscribed spring release , Sal ’s Paradise is , in one word , refreshing . The saison is brew with malted milk from Asheville ’s Riverbend Malt House and lark about a unique lemon tree spirit that come from the Sorachi Ace and Citra hops . This one is an easy drink and will be , while it lasts , a patio staple fibre .
The Unknown Brewing Co. Ginger Wheat
straw , 5.1%South EndGinger is delicious . Beer is also delightful . Therefore , a beer that sample like gingerroot is really , really delectable . This straw is a labor of love , as the ginger used is mitt - flake by the brewers at Unknown Brewing . It used to be a seasonal brew , but because mass could n’t get enough of it ( and that crisp taste ) , it ’s now offer up year - round . The brewery is roll in the hay for taking chances and experiment with its ingredients … even using scorpions during their brewing process .
