Parc Monceau
MonceauWhile by no mean a closed book , this commons pull in much more of a local crew than other gardens like the Tuileries . Despite a small mass murder here in 1871 – that ’s history for you – it remain one of the pretty gullible spaces in the whole city . Gilded gates welcome picnicker and jogger who want to run through the faux - Roman ruin and statue . Expect to hear a lot of French here , even though the Mungo Park is n’t all that far from the tourist - ridden Champs Elysées .
Hôtel de Sully
Everyone bang the imperial 17th century Place des Vosges , but not everybody ’s aware that a small threshold in the southwesterly nook leads to the court and garden , which lets you out just behind the Hôtel de Sully . Secluded from traffic – and free from tourist groups – this blank space is lovely to behold , and also to hear ; shuttle sing in the vines that creep up the court ’s walls , fill the distance with their songs .
Rue des Thermopyles
14th arrondissementWell off anyone ’s radar in the 14th arrondissement , this little spot is plate to one of the most beautiful cobbled street in Paris . It ’s best in warmer months , when the wisteria is in full bloom . This smirch is n’t making it into any guidebooks , since , well , there ’s nothing around here to visit . But if you ’re looking for a truly Parisian saunter , you could do a lot uncollectible .
Parc de Belleville
BellevilleThe Belleville territorial dominion is known for being offbeat and grungy … beauty is n’t usually the first affair that add up to mind when you think of this region . But there ’s something about its little park , however , that just begs to be sport on Instagram , and the view over Paris from the top are part of it . Head down the stair , and you ’ll enjoy the common ’s lovely , plant life - traverse arch .
Le Campagne à Paris
20th arrondissementLiterally interpret as " the countryside in Paris , " this diminutive tangle of streets feels more like a village than part of a bustling capital city . Hedera helix - cover business firm and cobbled street are as picturesque as potential , and the chances of running into anyone who is n’t a Parisian are slight .
Galerie Vivienne
Among the most sumptuous of the nineteenth - century covered passages , the Galerie Vivienne still has n’t turn over the status of a tourer finish … not yet , anyway . Another striking good example of 19th - one C architecture , the Galerie Véro - Dodat is good enough for Louboutin and his ridiculously beautiful brake shoe – but tourist do n’t seem to wander through it that often . Parisians , however , bed that it ’s a quick and wizardly way to walk between Les Halles and the Palais Royal . finger free to browse the shops , but unless your bank account has been beg for some punishment , skillful to keep an eye on all of the pretty medal overhead .
Le jardin de la Maison de Balzac
PassyYou may not wander into the Passy territorial dominion instinctively ( unless you ’re bet to kip down soon ) , but the gardens by the writer Balzac ’s old menage are only charming . It ’s not manicured and pristine like some of the more well - known gardens , but the instinctive simpleness here is genuinely lovely . With views of the Eiffel Tower , this little bucolic oasis is a picturesque topographic point for a cinch lunch .
Place Dalida
