TheTales of the Cocktailfestival in New Orleans culminate Saturday night with the 10th one-year Spirited Awards . Industry luminary from around the macrocosm gathered at the Sheraton Hotel New Orleans to fete the past year of cautionary workplace by BAR , bartenders , writers , brand ambassadors , distillers and other expert .
Winners wereannouncedfor more than 20 American , international and global class , include The Connaught Bar in London , which took home World ’s Best Cocktail Bar . Jeffrey Morgenthaler of Clyde Common in Portland , Oregon won Best American Bartender , while Hidetsugu Ueno of Bar High Five in Tokyo , Japan come through in the International Bartender category . The control panel of 112 manufacture pro , extend by chairmen Simon Ford , Jacob Briars and David Wondrich , did n’t have an easy time narrowing thing down . The 2016 field of operations was the largest set of nominees to date .
